Lynzy Gonzalez, MA, CCC-SLP
Speech and Language Pathologist
Lynzy is a licensed speech language pathologist who earned two Bachelor or Arts degrees, one in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and the other in Linguistics from San Diego State University. She received her Master of Arts degree in Education/Speech Pathology from San Jose State University. During her graduate studies, Lynzy was awarded a grant which provided specialized training in assessment and treatment of adults and children with complex communication needs who utilize augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). She has had the opportunity of working with both children and adults with autism, brain injuries, unique behavior and sensory needs, dysphagia, as well as many other receptive and expressive language disorders in a variety of settings including private practice, acute and sub-acute care, and neurorehabilitation centers. Lynzy values family input, concerns, and opinions and believes a family-centered approach is the most effective way of treating speech and language difficulties. In her spare time, Lynzy enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and exploring new places.
