Dr. Kelsey Dow, PT, DPT
Kelsey was born and raised in Mansfield, Texas. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Exercise Science, and then from the University of St. Augustine with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017. Since then, she has worked within the outpatient setting treating patients of all ages with various orthopedic and neurological conditions. Kelsey is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in Austin, Texas where she is a Lead Lab Instructor for the Gross Anatomy I and Gross Anatomy II courses. Her professional affiliations include being a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), and the Texas Physical Therapy Association (TPTA). She also became an LSVT BIG certified clinician in 2019, specializing her in the treatment of individuals with Parkinson’s Disease.
Kelsey enjoys working alongside patients with orthopedic conditions, both surgical and non-surgical, and has completed advanced manual therapy coursework in myofascial manipulation, spinal mobilization and manipulation, and advanced extremity mobilization and manipulations. Kelsey has also recently completed courses for treating patients with BKA and AKA amputations, vestibular conditions, and ergonomics. Kelsey utilizes various treatment approaches when working with her patients and enjoys creating patient-specific treatment plans in order to allow her patients to achieve their maximal potential.
In her free time, Kelsey enjoys spending time with her dogs- Tex and Violet, attending Texas Longhorns sporting events, and traveling. She enjoys going on medical missions to provide underserved populations with access to physical therapy services, with her most recent trips being to Guatemala City.
