Klarissa is a Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist who earned her Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Texas State University. Klarissa has had the opportunity to work with a variety of populations and disorders. These disorders include Developmental Delays, Oral Motor Disorders, Down Syndrome, Autism, Apraxia, Fluency Disorders, Voice disorders, Aphasia, Dysphagia, Medically Fragile Children, and Articulation/Phonological Disorders. She has received specialized training in Play-Based assessment/intervention and Bilingual assessment/intervention. In addition, she has gained experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a school-based setting. Klarissa is licensed in the state of Texas and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association.
