Dr. Laura Grest, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Laura was raised in Spring, TX and graduated from Klein Oak High School in 2003, but all of her family is from New Orleans, LA which is where she calls “home”. Laura graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BA in Government in 2007; she practiced as a constitutional law litigation paralegal as well as a scope of practice lobbyist and manager for the Texas Podiatric Medical Association for many years before deciding that sitting still behind a desk was not for her. Laura is a second career Physical Therapist who graduated with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Texas State University in 2021 with experience treating patients of all ages and diagnoses in both outpatient and home health settings. Through her experiences she found she has an affinity for pediatrics including neurological disorders, developmental delays, and sports injuries. Laura loves problem solving to find new and creative ways to help patients be independent and active in the ways they enjoy.

When she’s not in the clinic Laura enjoys hiking and rock climbing with her son, riding bikes that go nowhere at SoulCyle, and trying new recipes and restaurants. Insider tip: there are very few things she wouldn’t do for coffee or Sour Patch Kids.
