Mikayla Pillar
Occupational Therapist
Mikayla has lived all over the United States, but she grew up in Connecticut and North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Brigham Young University and later traveled abroad to complete her Master’s in Occupational Therapy at Brunel University London. As an occupational therapist, Mikayla has gained extensive experience working in pediatric outpatient settings and school systems. She specializes in supporting children with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, genetic conditions, and developmental delays. She believes in strength-based therapy and uses natural motivators to help her clients reach meaningful goals and thrive in their daily lives. Outside of her professional work, Mikayla is an avid foodie who enjoys both cooking at home and exploring new restaurants. She also loves treasure-hunting in thrift stores and spending time mountain biking with her husband.
