Julie Creswell, MA,

Director of Speech Language Pathology

Julie graduated from Texas Christian University in 2003 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology. She earned a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Kansas in 2005. While in graduate school, Julie completed the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) Traineeship at the Center for Developmental Disabilities in Kansas City, with a focus on autism spectrum disorders and advocating for individuals with disabilities.  She has experience providing speech and language services to both children and adults in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, early childhood intervention, skilled nursing facilities, home health and outpatient clinics.  Julie enjoys working with clients of all ages and has engaged in frequent continuing education including Beckman Oral Motor Assessment and Intervention, Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) Training, Applied Behavior Analysis: Clinical Applications for Speech Therapy, and multiple feeding, dysphagia, and motor speech techniques. She is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Treatment (LSVT LOUD) and VitalStim Therapy. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and is a member of both ASHA and the Texas Speech Language Hearing Association (TSHA).

In her time away from work, Julie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and watercolor painting. She enjoys serving the people of Georgetown by providing speech and language services!
