Kat grew up in Washington, D.C. and moved to Austin in 2008. She completed her undergraduate leveling coursework at the University of Texas at Austin before earning her Master’s degree from the University of North Texas.

 

Kat has been working in outpatient pediatrics for over a decade and is passionate about partnering with families to support meaningful goals for their children. She has a special interest in working with neurodiverse populations and provides therapy that is playful, creative, evidence-based, and highly individualized.

 

Her clinical interests include feeding therapy, oral motor deficits, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) such as communication devices and sign language, social language development, and executive functioning. She also enjoys supporting families during challenging seasons when children may use aggression as a form of communication, helping them navigate these periods with patience, consistency, and effective strategies.

 

Kat finds great fulfillment in watching children grow and families gain confidence as they move through these stages and thrive. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve families at All Care Therapies.
