Mikayla grew up in San Diego, California, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Developmental Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. She later moved to Texas to pursue her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Abilene Christian University.

 

During her clinical rotations, Mikayla gained valuable experience working with adults in an inpatient psychiatric unit as well as in an outpatient clinic specializing in hand therapy. She also developed a strong passion for pediatrics, with experience working with children in outpatient and school-based settings during her training.

 

Mikayla is dedicated to helping her patients build the skills and confidence needed to achieve their unique and meaningful goals.

 

Outside of work, she enjoys exercising, reading, spending time outdoors, and hosting game nights with friends.
