February 9-15th is Random Acts of Kindness Week. Too often these days we hear stories about people being rude or hateful, and listening tends to dampen our mood and make us think the worst. But we know that people are ultimately good, so to combat all the negativity this week we encourage people take a moment out of their lives to do one kind thing for somebody. Become a RAKtavist here and participate in the Random Acts of Kindness Week.
We will be celebrating all week, doing small acts as the week progresses. Midway through the week, on the 12th, we’ll share our stories of acts of kindness we participated in so far. We want you to share your story with us as well, whether you end up being on the giving or receiving end of a Random Act of Kindness. Use the “Contact Us” section of our blog to share your story with us, or share it on our Facebook page. We’ll post a few stories on our blog at the end of the week, February 15th.
If you need help thinking of a Random Act of Kindness, we’ve posted some suggestions below from the Random Acts website. You can also visit the website here and find more suggestions. They included handy filters to look within a certain price range and time commitment for act ideas.
