Shannon Middleton, MA, CCC-SLP

Lead Speech Language Pathologist

Shannon has been providing speech therapy services since 1992 and enjoys working with both children and adults. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education with a specialty in Speech Therapy from Baylor University and a Master of Arts degree in Communication Disorders from the University of Texas at Austin. She has experience working in home health, hospitals, nursing homes, public schools and private therapy clinics. She has experience working with individuals with Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, language disorder/delay, articulation/phonological disorder, cognitive impairment, stroke and head injury. Shannon is trained in the Hanen Language Program It Takes Two To Talk and is a Certified Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist. "I chose speech therapy because I knew I wanted to work in the medical field and help others.  Plus, I love to talk!  Communication is so important in life!  It’s great to see a child mastering language or an adult gaining their language back." 

Shannon and her family have lived in Round Rock since 1996. In her spare time, she enjoys riding horses, doing crossword puzzles, reading, gardening, kayaking and hiking and biking on the local trails.
