The ADA has come up with a very clever and fun way to teach children about dental health. The link here provides coloring sheets, a story, connect the dots, and other projects that have facts about dental health. Not only are the sheets informative, but they are also nice to help target fine motor and visual motor skills, as well as reading comprehension. #americadentalassociation #nationalchildren39 #sdentalhealthmonth #otactivities #awareness #communityresources #crafts #de
Today is Give Kids A Smile Day! Give Kids A Smile was launched by the American Dental Association back in 2003 as a way for dentists across the country to join with their community and provide dental care to underserved children. This volunteer effort is a very moving project that helps hundreds of thousands. Each year, approximately 350,000 children benefit from Give Kids Smile events.
